On The Go
In the hopes that I will update this blog-O-mine on a more regular basis (and get more proficient on the little thumb board) I downloaded a small freeware program for the PalmOS called u*Blog. This allows me to post from my Treo 650, as you can see from my trial post below. Now as random thoughts come to mind I don't have to wait until I am at a computer - or more often forget about it completely. Any time and any where. But no images... yet.Speaking of software... Gmaps from Google doesn't work with Blazer or any of the other browsers for the PalmOS. So Ivan Mitrovic wrote KMaps, a small software package that uses Java to pull down the map information and display it on the PDA. Very cool because Google doesn't just give you the map, but lat/long, phone number and address - if a business. AND ITS FREE!! Now in any city you find somewhere to eat, a hotel, your relatives house, or anything else you might be looking for.
